As we turned the page to this next chapter, we decided to take on a new last name—one that feels like ours: Remington.
Ryan’s last name was Ramsdell, and having the double “R” in his initials has always been a small but familiar part of his identity. The name Jenson has been an important part of Nadine’s life, carrying with it both memories and meaning—often misheard or misspelled with an “en,” but always corrected with an “on.” Over time, that little distinction became something she held dear.
While exploring possible names, we realized we wanted something that honored both of those details. Something that started with an “R” and ended with “on.” When the name Remington came up, it just felt right.
To us, Remington carries a sense of strength and intention. It speaks to craftsmanship and tradition—qualities Ryan connects with through his appreciation for the design and precision behind fine tools. It also echoes the classic Remington typewriters, a symbol of creativity and timeless storytelling, which reflects Nadine’s love of words and the dream of one day writing books.
This name holds what matters to us—where we’ve been and the future we’re building. It’s ours now, and we’re proud to carry it forward together.
